If you'd like to manually update your Toolbar, it's not necessary to uninstall the Google Toolbar currently running on your system before downloading the latest version. Please note, however, that the Google Toolbar automatically updates you to the latest and most stable version of the Toolbar so that you don't have to worry about your Toolbar being up-to-date.

If you would like to manually install the latest version, simply visit http://toolbar.google.com/ to begin the installation process. Once the download is complete, you may need to close all browser windows and open a new window before the new version will appear.
